About Me

Hey there,

I’m Sean, it’s nice to meet you.

I’m an obsessive learner who is trying to make a dent in the world.

I grew up helping my family run their restaurant and bagel shop in central N.J. From a young age I was folding napkins, peeling produce, and serving customers. Everyone should work as a waiter(ess).

At 15 I earned my Eagle Scout.

After high school I went to Fordham, where I studied finance, ran a fairtrade/microfinance business, managed a million dollars of the school’s endowment, and spent a year in China. It was neat.

I opted not to pursue a career in banking – much to my parent’s chagrin – and instead spent a year teaching English in Sri Lanka as a Fulbrighter. The Fulbright was an amazing experience. If you’re interested in applying you should read my guide.

I spent part of the summer interning with Seth Godin. It was an intense two weeks; I was surrounded by capable, intelligent individuals. We built something really special, and I can’t wait to share it with the world in October.

You should connect with me on twitter or email me at aseoconnor-at-gmail.com. I’m always looking for interesting projects to work on.

-Sean
